Keycodes Inspection Agency, Bethlehem, PA is looking for a Permit Coordinator/Assistant to join our team and work closely with our Office Manager. Responsibilities include regular office operations, logging inspection results, communicating results with local municipal offices and customer/contractors. The position requires excellent customer service and organization skills as well as good phone skills, exceptional computer skills, an eye for detail and an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the Uniform Construction Code, permitting process, municipal process, and code compliance and/or construction is a plus. We are a small business with a 25-year presence in the Lehigh Valley. Cross training and support of all team members in practiced in our office. We value teamwork, customer service and professionalism and we are looking for someone to fill this role and join our team. Responsibilities – Enter new permit applications and prepare them for the plans examiner – Support office manager as needed – Permit file management/archiving/record keeping Skills – Proven work experience as an Administrative Assistant, Administrator or similar role – Hands-on experience with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) – Familiarity with office equipment, like printers and fax machines – Basic math skills – Experience with the construction industry – Friendly with excellent verbal and written communication skills – Exceptional time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks.
