Description: The 2006 IMC Fundamentals is an integrated course that will highlight key provisions of the code and provide practice in applying those key requirements and reinforce learning by supplying immediate feedback or clarification. Overall, the course will walk participants through the content outline of the codebook, highlight and describe key sections, and provide an opportunity to practice using the code through examples and exercises.

Description: Overviews the critical concepts of the 2006 IFGC. Provides a basis for the correct use of the code in the design, plan review, inspection, and analysis of projects. Provides a clear understanding and correct use of the requirements identified by basic code provisions, tables and categorizations allow code users to apply the code in clear-cut situations, and helps to build their understanding of the intent of the code when asked to make code compliance decisions.
